University City Towne Center (UTC) is renovating and revitalizing its Westfield Shopping Center.

UTC had a goal of not only creating new shops and new walkways, but wanted to enhance the customer experience by creating a unique offering.  An EasyTurf putting green is unique, gathers attention, and is interactive for shopping families. Enhancing the customer experience is also part of the mission of EasyTurf. With our goals aligned, Westfield UTC contracted with EasyTurf to install this one-of-a-kind shopping experience.

We built a putting green, using our True Roll Putting Green Surface.  This build had a bit of a challenge to it.  Not only was it to be built on the second floor, but it was to be built on uneven cement. But there is rarely a challenge that our design team cannot overcome.

The installation took approximately four days to complete and includes an 1100 square feet of putting green, and 760 square feet of green fringe.

The putting green is located in the Nordstrom wing of the mall, across from Restoration Hardware.  Putters and golf balls can be checked out at the UTC concierge station.

The putting green was also recently featured in the San Diego Union Tribune.
